Board Chair, Ms. Alexis Krivkovich
Engagement Manager, McKinsey & Company

Ms. Krivkovich is currently at the San Francisco office of McKinsey & Company, a global management consulting firm. Since joining McKinsey, Ms. Krivkovich has served a broad range of clients across the financial services, industrial and nonprofit sectors on issues related to strategic growth and transformational change. Ms. Krivkovich received an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar. She also holds a B.A. in Public Policy and Economics from Stanford University.

Treasurer, Ms. Elena Schmid
Senior Consultant, KEMA, Inc.

Formerly, Vice President of Corporate and Strategic Development, California Independent System Operator
Formerly, Director of the Office of Ratepayer Advocates, California Public Utilities Commission

Ms. Schmid is a 20-year veteran of California’s energy market, and has had extensive experience and leadership in areas of human resources, policy and communication. She currently manages a multi-year and multi-discipline project with the California Energy Commission that provides technical, policy and resource support to their cutting-edge approach to encouraging the development of renewable energy throughout the state and the western region.

Secretary, Ms. Melissa Beard Clack
Director of Recruiting Services, California Environmental Associates

Formerly, President, Marin Council of California Cooperative Nursery Schools

Ms. Clack specializes in recruitment and staffing for businesses, foundations, and nonprofit organizations. Her efforts include the design and implementation of staffing strategies—from single placement to building full teams. Melissa brings more than 15 years of consulting and recruitment experience in conservation and clean-tech sectors. Prior to rejoining CEA in June 2008, Melissa ran her own recruitment business and has had extensive experience in running small businesses and non-profit efforts and providing expertise in human resource management, insurance and liability issues, and fiscal oversight. She formerly was the President of the Marin Council of California Cooperative Nursery Schools. She assisted the Chief Financial Officer of the International 1990 Earth Day event. She also ran the financial and human resource operations of California Environmental Associates.

Director, Leslie Leslie
Grant Director, The Fred Gellert Family Foundation

Ms. Leslie is currently the Grant Director for The Fred Gellert Family Foundation. Prior to her work with the Gellert Foundation, Ms. Leslie served as a program coordinator for the Resource Renewal Institute (RRI), assisting in research, event planning and program development.  She currently continues to consult with RRI and assists in raising funds for a number of nonprofit organizations. She has co-founded three schools, including the Mountain School, a Waldorf pre-school in Corte Madera. For over 13 years, she helped lead fundraising efforts for the Waldorf School in San Francisco and was a co-founder of the S.F.Waldorf High School. Ms. Leslie serves on the Steering Committee of the WELL Network and on the Advisory Board of Permacouture Institute and China Rivers Project.
