Established in 2005, CoolingMan seeks to build bridges between the climate science and artistic communities, as well as inspire groups and individuals to take action to offset their greenhouse gas emissions (GHG).
CoolingMan activities include:
Offsetting Greenhouse Gas Emissions of People, Projects and Events: CoolingMan helps groups estimate emissions from cultural events, and then obtain a greater amount of “GHG Offsets” to more than neutralize these emissions.
Supporting Climate-Related Artworks: CoolingMan works to bring the creative and persuasive powers of the artistic community to bear on the challenge of climate change by providing ideas and funding for artworks exploring climate related themes.
Supporters may make donations to CoolingMan to either 1) fund CoolingMan GHG offsets or 2) fund climate-related artworks and operations.
